Some frequently asked questions
Yes! All the Rescue Buddies are based on real-life rescues! In the books you can see photographs of the main characters.
Almost all of the rescues that appear in the books live in the sanctuary that Rescue Mom has for them.
The sanctuary is not open to the general public (as it is also Rescue Mom's home). However, some organizations have come to visit and work with the sanctuary to help out. For example, the Girl Scouts have been very helpful to the sanctuary and to Rescue Mom.
